Everyone arrived less than 24 hours ago, it’s hard to believe. They arrived at Fire Mountain Ashram about 10 pm last night. Suitcases sorted out, everyone sent to bed and a 4:00 a.m. start this morning! We’re on the jet-lag recovery program with Bhagavan Nityananda.
Already everyone’s eyes are getting deep and clear, like a bottomless mountain lake. We are chanting Shrii Guru Gita mid-morning, beginning with English verses I’ve completed, and I’ll be adding 5 or 10 every day. Then the Sanskrit chant with a sweet meditation after.
This afternoon’s satsang began with a Q&A session, but I turned the tables on everyone and got to ask the questions! I asked for their descriptions of their experience in the morning, after the abhishek and Shrii Guru Gita. With each person, I unwrapped the gift of their response, showing them the profound teachings included in their seemingly simple response.
The evening yoga class is ending just now, in the cool evening air, under the dome and in the echoing sound of the tamboura…
With love and blessings from Ganeshpuri,
